Concert ‘To the Sound of a Stradivarius’

On 17 January, at 7pm, the Grand Auditorium of the University of Algarve will host the ‘To the Sound of a Stradivarius’ concert by the Algarve Orchestra.

One of today's most acclaimed violinists and musical leaders, Roman Simovic will make his solo debut in Portugal at this concert, performing Mendelssohn's much-loved Concerto. Since 2010 concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra and the current owner of a 1709 Stradivari violin, there are plenty of reasons not to miss this concert, in which Simovic will also conduct the orchestra in Haydn's last and greatest symphony.

Admission is free, but subject to capacity.
